The performances are part of a larger celebration titled “HAPPY SWING 30th Anniversary GLAY SPECIAL LIVE We♡Happy Swing Vol.4 extra “DREAMY” in VENEZIA.” These shows mark a significant international component of the band’s ongoing anniversary festivities.

Attendee Support and Travel Guidance

To assist fans navigating the trip to Italy, the band’s vocalist, TERU, has provided direct travel advice. On June 4, 2026, the band released a “Venice Travel Strategy Guide” authored by TERU. This guide was developed following the release of a podcast titled “Ask TERU about Venice!”, which aimed to provide practical insights for those visiting the city for the concerts.

The Venice events are among several international and domestic shows organized to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the band’s official fan club, “HAPPY SWING.” The fan club’s anniversary celebrations were formally announced on January 20, 2026, detailing a series of live performances held both within Japan and abroad.

2026 Tour and Performance Schedule

The Venice shows are part of a dense schedule of live activities for the band throughout 2026. Following the June performances in Italy, GLAY is scheduled to hold “HAPPY SWING 30th Anniversary GLAY SPECIAL LIVE ～We♡Happy Swing～ Vol.4” on July 31, 2026.

The band has also announced a major arena tour beginning in the autumn of 2026. This tour will consist of 22 performances across 11 different locations. The band will conduct a national hall tour titled “HIGHCOMMUNICATIONS TOUR 2026 “GLAY-complete BEST”,” which was announced on November 6, 2025.

Alongside its touring schedule, GLAY has released several new projects in 2026. On March 18, 2026, guitarist TAKURO released a second healing album titled “May Love Guide Your Way.” The album features 12 tracks, including “Blue Age,” “Teardrop,” and “The Ghost of Grey.”

In terms of singles, the band released “Dead Or Alive” on December 3, 2025, which serves as the opening theme song for the anime “Record of Ragnarok III” (終末のワルキューレⅢ).
