On October 30, Bobby Mehta, Vice-President of the University of Portsmouth, UK, and his delegation visited the school for a visit. Vice President Chen Wenhua met with the guests and signed a course docking agreement with them. Chen Wenhua extended a warm welcome to the University of Portsmouth delegation and introduced the school’s history and development status, disciplinary characteristics, international exchanges and cooperation, especially the progress of the undergraduate “2+2” Sino-foreign joint training program. He pointed out that launching the “2+2” Sino-foreign joint training program is a solid step for our school to promote high-level opening up to the outside world and improve the level of international education. This year, our school and the University of Portsmouth will carry out joint training in computer science and technology majors, which is a good start for the cooperation between the two schools.
