Cortland, Ohio, resident Gloria Binion passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, according to a MyValleyTributes announcement.

Binion was 83 years old at the time of her death. Details regarding her life and family were not immediately available.

Her passing comes amidst a period of reported activity at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, as February 2, 2026 saw the death of Kathleen A. King, 79, of Austintown, Ohio, at the same facility. Edward M. Moore, 88, passed away on February 1, 2026, also at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, after a life that included recognition as an all-city athlete during his time at South High School.

Elsewhere in the region, services are scheduled for Michael A. Brandon, 60, of Oakwood Village, on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Mount Zion Circle Church. Quentin D. Brown, 38, of Warren, will be remembered in services on Monday, February 3, 2026, at Second Baptist Church, with calling hours preceding the service. Annette DiGiovanni, 70, of Niles, will also be honored with calling hours scheduled.
