This performance represents a solid +1% increase in total viewers and a substantial +8% surge in the demo compared to the previous week. While GMA‘s total viewership saw a slight -1% dip compared to the same week in 2023, its performance in the key demo remained flat, demonstrating resilience in a competitive environment.
In stark contrast, Today now finds itself in second place in both measured categories. The NBC morning show garnered 2.297 million total viewers and 474,000 demo viewers for the week. While the program saw a -2% decrease in total viewers week-over-week, it achieved a notable double-digit gain of +11% in the demo. this made CBS Mornings the only network to post positive double-digit movement in either of the measured categories. However, when compared to the same week in 2023, CBS Mornings experienced a -10% decline in total viewers and a -20% drop in the demo.
