GMR Rugby Premier League Kicks Off in Mumbai

The inaugural season of the GMR Rugby premier League (RPL) has commenced at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai, marking a notable moment for rugby in India. Six franchises are competing for the championship, supported by a host of sponsors.
GMR Group serves as the title sponsor for this debut season of the Rugby Premier league, while HSBC is a powered-by partner. Encalm Hospitality, Megawide infrastructure, and Waisl aviation specialists have also signed on as associate sponsors.
Official partners for the tournament include Capgemini, Bisleri, Hero Fincorp, JSW Cement, Amul, Dream11, Pushpak, Wintex, Nanavati Max, and Capital Group. These partners play a crucial role in supporting the league’s operations and enhancing the fan experience.
Capgemini is the transformation partner, Bisleri serves as the hydration partner, and Dream11 is the fantasy sports partner. Pushpak is the equipment leasing partner, and Nanavati Max is the medical partner. Capital Group is the outdoor media partner,and Radio Mirchi is the radio partner.
Star Sports Select 1 is the official broadcaster, with JioHotstar as the digital streaming partner. Rugby Pass TV network is the online global broadcaster, expanding the reach of the Rugby Premier League to audiences worldwide.
