The GMR Rugby Premier League (RPL) is ⁤set to kick off its first ‍season with major backing. ‌JSW Cement, Amul, and Capgemini India have signed on as sponsors, signaling growing⁢ corporate interest‍ in the sport of rugby and its potential within the Indian market.⁣ The GMR rugby ​Premier League aims to raise rugby’s prominence and cultivate a lively audience across India, highlighting the important role of sports in community building.

Capgemini India, a division of the multinational consulting and technology firm, will serve‍ as the league’s official transformation partner. Capgemini has a considerable presence in India, employing approximately 175,000 peopel across‌ 13 sites.The company provides services including application development⁣ and business intelligence.
