The Fort Dodge Community Schools Foundation is utilizing its annual Go Big, Go Dodgers fundraiser to bridge funding gaps for educational technology and classroom resources within the Fort Dodge Community School District.

Scheduled for April 10, 2026, at the Laramar Ballroom in downtown Fort Dodge, the event aims to secure funds that allow educators and students to access tools and professional development that exceed standard district budget allocations.

Integrating Advanced Visualization Technology

A primary example of the foundation’s impact on technical education is the acquisition of an Anatomage Table for Fort Dodge Senior High.

The Anatomage Table is an advanced 3D visualization tool designed for nursing education. It provides a virtual, life-sized alternative to real human cadaver dissection, allowing students to interact with CT and MRI scans.

The system includes over 1,000 pathological cases, which are used to enhance anatomical understanding and clinical training for students pursuing medical careers.

Funding the Technology Gap

According to Nik Moser, the Director of the Fort Dodge Community Schools Foundation, foundations are essential for offsetting declining school budgets.

Funding the Technology Gap

We help pick up anywhere People can that allows classes to have the newest technologies. We also help get supplies that go above and beyond the budgets of the school district.

The proceeds from the April 10 event are designated for grants that support technology, professional development for educators and other educational items that district funding cannot cover.

Event Logistics and Programming

The fundraiser begins with a pre-party from 5 p.m. To 7 p.m. On April 10, 2026, at O’Goodies, located at 16 N. Seventh St. The main event follows at 7 p.m. At the Laramar Ballroom, located at 710 First Ave. N., with a post-party returning to O’Goodies.

Admission for the evening is priced at $40 for general guests and $20 for members of the school district.

The event features music by Fort Dodge graduate Sawyer Springer and includes both silent and live auctions. Live auction items include dinners with Fort Dodge Superintendent Josh Porter and others, as well as a four-night stay in Arizona.
