In May 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) voiced concerns about Iran’s increasing uranium stockpile and⁤ lack of cooperation with inspections. Israeli intelligence indicated that‍ Iran was nearing the capability⁢ to produce a nuclear warhead, which prompted Israel to act.
