Goldbeak is directed by acclaimed animator Nigel W.Tierney, known for his work on music videos for artists like Bad Bunny and Little Dicky, as well as his contributions to DreamWorks Animation films like Captain Underpants and How to Train Your Dragon 2. Dong Long, chief director of Liangzi Film, also co-directed the project.
The film features the voices of popular actor David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) as Goldbeak and internet sensation Rachell hofstetter (Valkyrae) as Ratchet.

Nigel Tierney: “Goldbeak” is a story about finding your place in the world, even when it seems like you don’t belong. Goldbeak is a little eagle who loses his parents and finds himself adopted by a loving family of chickens. While he is cherished, he struggles to fit in and master the art of flight. Yearning for adventure and to find a place where he truly belongs, he embarks on a journey to Avian City alongside his brave sister, Ratchet. Along the way, he learns that family isn’t just about blood, but about the bonds we forge and the love we share.

Nigel Tierney: I was inspired by the idea of an outsider finding their wings, so to speak. We all feel like we don’t belong sometimes, and I wanted to create a story that would resonate with anyone who has ever felt like they were different.
