Golden Globes Announce 2026 Ceremony Details, Add Podcast Award

The golden Globes announced Wednesday the schedule for its 83rd annual ceremony. The awards show, a key event in Hollywood’s awards season, will be broadcast Jan. 11, 2026.
Nikki Glaser will return as host. The ceremony will air live from the beverly Hilton on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
A new category, Best Podcast Award, has been introduced. Luminate, a data company, will determine the top 25 podcasts eligible for consideration. Six podcasts will be nominated.
Nominations for the Golden globes will be revealed Dec. 8.

Submissions for motion picture, television, and podcast entries open Aug. 1. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 31.Final ballots are due Jan.3.
