A New Era for Smartwatches: Introducing the Pixel Watch 4

Google is poised to refresh its wearable lineup with the Pixel Watch 4, alongside the highly anticipated Pixel 10 smartphone series. the new watch focuses on refining the user experience with a brighter, more immersive display and improved battery life. Available for preorder today, the Pixel Watch 4 will ship on August 28th.

Under the hood, the Pixel Watch 4 is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset, promising a 25% performance boost while consuming half the power of the previous generation’s W5 Gen 1 chip. Battery life sees a modest improvement, with the 41mm model offering up to 30 hours of use and the 45mm model lasting up to 40 hours. battery capacities are 325 mAh and 455 mAh respectively, slightly larger than the Pixel Watch 3.
The new charging dock is a sleek addition, holding the watch upright on your desk while displaying details like alarms, battery percentage, and the time. Charging speeds are also 25% faster than the previous generation. Furthermore,Google has integrated its Gemini AI directly into the watch, enabling “raise-to-talk” functionality and leveraging improved speakers and haptics for a more responsive interaction.
