Known for his caricatures, Neumann-Nochten’s artistic journey extends far beyond, encompassing large-format oil paintings and landscape sketches that reflect both his travels and inner contemplations.

In the 1990s,following his return to Görlitz,Neumann-Nochten captured the city’s essence through expressionistic renderings of landmarks like the Thick Tower and St. Peter’s Church.
