Weather Disrupts Governors Ball 2025; Olivia Rodrigo Set Delayed

New York city’s Governors Ball 2025 experienced disruptions Saturday as inclement weather led to schedule changes and cancellations. the three-day music festival at Flushing Meadows Corona Park faced forecasts of rain and thunderstorms, prompting organizers to delay the opening and adjust set times.
The festival’s opening was pushed back to 4:30 p.m., several hours later than the originally scheduled noon start. Early performances by Lexa Gates, Yaya Bey, and The Backfires were canceled outright. The weather also impacted later performances, with most set times delayed by at least an hour.
Olivia Rodrigo, the Saturday headliner, saw her main stage performance moved from 8:30 p.m. to 9:25 p.m.Feid and Wave to Earth,who were scheduled to close out other stages,had their sets moved to 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.,respectively. Marina, Young Miko, Conan Gray, and Car Seat Headrest were among the other artists still slated to perform Saturday evening.
Governors Ball 2025 kicked off Friday with performances by Tyler, The Creator, Benson boone, and others. The festival is set to conclude Sunday with performances from hozier, Mt. Joy, and Clairo, among others.
