Bagnaia secures Victory at AmericasGP After Marquez Crash
AUSTIN, texas (AP) — Francesco Bagnaia of ducati Lenovo Team claimed victory at the AmericasGP on Sunday, marking his first win of the season. The race, held at the Circuit of the Americas, saw dramatic turns, including a crash by Marc Marquez while leading, ultimately paving the way for Bagnaia’s triumph.
The race began with Marc Marquez seizing the lead from the start, followed closely by his brother Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. Fabio Di Giannantonio and Pedro Acosta rounded out the top five early in the race.maverick Viñales, however, faced a setback, starting from pit lane due to a motorcycle issue on the grid.
Marc Marquez initially capitalized on the battles behind him, building a lead while Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia fought for second position. Di Giannantonio also challenged for a podium spot.Further back, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Quartararo, and Brad binder engaged in a tight contest for sixth place.

Quartararo made an early mistake, dropping behind Binder. Fermin Aldeguer, though, showed strong pace, overtaking Acosta and challenging Binder.
By the fourth lap, Marc marquez had established a 1.5-second lead. Francesco Bagnaia than overtook Alex Marquez for second place, setting his sights on the race leader.
However, Marc Marquez’s bid for victory ended abruptly on lap nine when he crashed, ceding the lead to Francesco Bagnaia.Marquez was able to rejoin the race, albeit with a damaged motorcycle, eventually retiring to the pits.

With Marquez out of contention, Francesco Bagnaia led Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Pedro Acosta retired after his earlier crash. Joan Mir also crashed, losing a good position while battling Enea Bastianini.
Brad Binder also retired due to technical issues.

In the closing laps, Francesco Bagnaia maintained a comfortable lead, securing the victory. Alex Marquez finished second,and Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the podium. Johann Zarco and Fermin Aldeguer both crashed in the final stages of the race.
Bagnaia’s win marks his tenth in MotoGP. Alex Marquez’s second-place finish puts him within one point of the championship lead.

Di Giannantonio and Morbidelli Secure Top Finishes for Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing team
Fabio Di giannantonio secured third place, with teammate Franco Morbidelli following in fourth, for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. Di Giannantonio finished +3.594 seconds behind the leader,while Morbidelli clocked in at +10.732 seconds.
Jack Miller, representing Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP, took fifth place, finishing +11.857 seconds off the lead. Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia Racing secured sixth, crossing the line +12.238 seconds behind the frontrunner.
Enea Bastianini, riding for Red Bull KTM Tech3, finished seventh with a time of +12.815 seconds. Luca marini, representing Honda HRC Castrol, secured eighth place, finishing +15.646 seconds behind the leader. Ai Ogura of Trackhouse MotoGP Team finished ninth,+16.344 seconds off the lead.
Rounding out the top ten was Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy yamaha MotoGP Team, finishing +18.255 seconds behind the leader. His teammate, Alex Rins, secured eleventh place, +24.256 seconds behind. The Fernandez river, also from Trackhouse MotoGP Team, finished twelfth, +27.938 seconds behind the leader.
AUGUSTO FERNANDEZ of Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP finished thirteenth, +35.740 seconds behind. Maverick Viñales, riding for Red Bull KTM Tech3, secured fourteenth place, finishing +42.724 seconds behind the leader. Lorenzo Savadori of Aprilia Racing finished fifteenth, +46.397 seconds behind.
