Grab Apologizes After Driver Harassment Allegations in Malaysia

Johor Bahru, Malaysia – Police in Johor Bahru are investigating a video circulating online that appears to show a Grab driver harassing a female passenger. The incident, which reportedly occurred on Sunday, February 1, 2026, has sparked public outrage and prompted an apology from Grab Malaysia.

The video, initially posted to a Facebook group called JB Chui Shui Zhan, shows the driver reaching towards the rear passenger seat and questioning the woman about her age in Mandarin.
