Grand Regal Hotel Davao Wins Bid for Government Workshop
Davao City Hotel Scores Major Win, Landing Government Workshop
Davao City, Philippines – Grand Regal Hotel Davao is gearing up to host a crucial government planning workshop this fall, a move expected to bring a notable boost to the local economy. The Department of Agriculture (DA) awarded the contract to the hotel’s parent company, Dynasty Management and Development Corporation, for a total of ₱720,000.
The workshop, scheduled for September 30 to October 4, will focus on finalizing the department’s plan and budget for fiscal year 2025. Key officials and stakeholders from across Region XI are expected to attend.
“It’s a pretty big deal,” said Maria, a local resident, discussing the news with her friend Carlos. “They’ll be finalizing the DA’s plan and budget for the whole of next year for the entire Region XI. So all the key officials and stakeholders will be there.”
Carlos agreed, noting the importance of the event. “Wow, so it’s a crucial meeting then. I bet it’s going to be quite a gathering.”
The DA’s decision followed a competitive bidding process. Dynasty Management and Development Corporation ultimately secured the contract through a negotiated procurement process, highlighting the confidence the department has in the hotel’s facilities and services.
“It was a competitive bidding process, you know,” Maria explained. “But Dynasty Management and Advancement corporation, who own Grand Regal, they secured the contract. It just shows the confidence the DA has in their facilities and services.”
The workshop is expected to bring a welcome influx of visitors and revenue to Davao City, further solidifying Grand Regal Hotel Davao’s reputation as a premier venue for crucial events.
