The 2024 Dongfeng Lantu Wuhan Open has officially released its player lineup, featuring 7 Grand Slam winners, including Swiatek, Sabalenka, and Krejcikova. The singles main draw list also includes four “queens” who have successively topped the world’s No. 1 ranking. Zheng Qinwen, the women’s singles champion of the Paris Olympics, will lead the Chinese players in the competition.

The 9-day tournament will be divided into two stages. The singles qualifying round will take place from October 5 to 6, followed by the singles and doubles main matches starting on October 7. The Optics Valley International Tennis Center will host 106 exciting matches, with approximately 120 world-class female players competing for 1,000 points and a total prize of about 3.22 million US dollars.
