Grealish and Haaland: The Dream Duo Taking Manchester City by Storm
Manchester City Star Jack Grealish Praises Erling Haaland
Manchester City star Jack Grealish has praised his young Norwegian counterpart Erling Haaland, who scored twice in a 2-1 win over Brentford in the English Premier League.
Haaland is the top scorer in the English Premier League with nine goals and has scored 99 goals for City. Despite his deteriorating mental state following the death of a family friend, Ivar Ega, who died at the age of 59, Haaland showed his unique quality by scoring two goals in the first half to help Manchester City turn the score around and contribute to their fourth win in a row in the league.
“The second goal showed what he’s like,” Grealish said. “He used his body well and got up with a great finish.” He added, “It’s a pleasure to play with him and I hope he can continue.”
Grealish also spoke about his own form, saying, “I started three years ago, four games in a row now for club and country, and I’m starting to feel like I’ve got my strength back.”
