Festiver 2024: The Green Film Festival in Barichara, Colombia
From September 19 to 22, Barichara, one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia, will host the 14th edition of Festiver, the Green Film Festival. This event has established itself as a reference in promoting environmental cinema and sustainability.
This year’s festival promises a rich experience with a varied program that includes 52 films competing, covering feature films, shorts, and animations from around the world.
Norida Rodríguez, Festiver’s executive director, highlighted the breadth and relevance of the selection of films. “Festiver brings a diverse and vibrant display to Barichara this year. 52 films are competing, in five categories that tell stories about wildlife, ecosystems, conservation, climate change, community work, and the many ways in which people from different places work and relate to their environment.”
