Program Overview
GreenTech Innovation is a key initiative designed to foster the progress and deployment of technologies that address environmental challenges. The program is a joint effort by the Ministry for Ecological Transition, the ministry of Territorial Cohesion, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Cities and housing. It specifically targets companies developing solutions in areas such as renewable energy, enduring mobility, circular economy, and smart cities.
The program aims to accelerate the growth of promising green technology companies by providing them with visibility, networking opportunities, and potential access to funding. It serves as a national platform for showcasing French innovation in the environmental sector.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to startups and SMEs that meet specific criteria. Companies must be registered in France and demonstrate a strong focus on developing and commercializing innovative digital or technological solutions with a positive environmental impact. Priority is given to solutions that align with the French government’s national strategies for ecological transition,as outlined in the Multi-Annual Energy Program (PPE).
As of January 9, 2026, the French government has allocated €500 million to support green technology initiatives through programs like GreenTech Innovation, as stated in the 2025 Budget for Ecological Transition.
Request Process and Deadline
Interested companies must submit an application through the official GreenTech Innovation platform. the application process involves submitting a detailed description of the company’s technology, its environmental impact, and its market potential. The deadline for submitting applications for the 2026 edition is January 19, 2026.
The selection process will be conducted by a committee of experts from the participating ministries and relevant industry stakeholders. Selected companies will be announced in March 2026 and will participate in a series of events and workshops throughout the year.
