Activist Greta thunberg is making waves again, this time pictured wearing a Fontaines D.C. shirt designed to support the people of Palestine. The image surfaced in a video promoting the “Freedom Flotilla,” a campaign aiming to break Israel’s siege of Gaza.
Thunberg and 11 other campaigners set sail from Catania, Italy, aboard the ship Madleen on June 1. Operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, the vessel is carrying food and medical supplies for Gaza. The mission also seeks to raise international awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis amid the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to The Guardian.

The Fontaines D.C. shirt, launched in late 2024, features a Palestinian flag and the words “Freedom for Palestine.” The band collaborated wiht Dublin’s Bohemians FC on the design, with proceeds benefiting Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP). The shirt is available for purchase online.
