Abu Dhabi’s Gridora to Develop $9.6B in Transport Infrastructure Projects

A new infrastructure platform, Gridora, is set to spearhead transport infrastructure projects valued at more than $9.6 billion in Abu Dhabi. Established by ADQ, IHC, and Modon Holding, Gridora has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) to deliver these high-impact projects.
The agreement signifies a crucial step in Gridora’s mission to champion strategic infrastructure development. The collaboration between Gridora and ADPIC will establish a framework for potential cooperation in the development, planning, and implementation of key infrastructure initiatives within Abu Dhabi, focusing initially on identifying pilot projects.
ADPIC, mandated to implement projects worth at least AED35 billion ($9.6 billion), will work with Gridora to explore opportunities. Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi,chairman of Gridora,emphasized the platform’s role in delivering world-class infrastructure to support the nation’s economic and population growth.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, highlighted the partnership’s focus on enhancing Abu Dhabi’s growth as a global city through improved transport infrastructure.
