Grizzly Bear Kicked Off Their Tour with Rare Tracks & Promise of Varied Setlists
Grizzly Bear launched their tour at Brooklyn Steel on October 13th with a setlist packed with both fan favorites and deep cuts. The show marked the live debut of “Will Calls” and the first performance of “Alligator” (from their 2004 album Horn Of Plenty) since 2008.Another rarity, “Little Brother” (2006), hadn’t been played since 2014. Most notably, they performed “Deep Sea Diver” for the first time in nearly 20 years – likely since 2005!
Alongside these rare tracks, the band also played popular songs like “Two weeks,” ”Yet Again,” and “Mourning sound.”

The band has stated they plan to change up their setlists each night, balancing popular tracks with more obscure songs. Daniel Rossen explained they’re aiming to mix “songs that we assume are the popular ones or algorithmically favorite songs, coupled with more obscure songs that we maybe wouldn’t have touched at the time.”
Grizzly Bear will return to Brooklyn Steel tonight (October 14th) and play three more shows there on October 16, 17, and 18, followed by dates in Chicago, Los Angeles, San francisco, and Oakland. Tickets are still available here.
