GTA 6: No Longest-Serving Actor?

# lazlow’s GTA 6 Return Looks Unlikely, Says the Voice Actor Himself

Longtime fans⁤ of the Grand Theft auto series are wondering if they’ll hear the familiar voice of lazlow Jones in the upcoming *GTA 6*. Regrettably, it seems a cameo from the iconic radio host is looking increasingly improbable. In a recent interview, Lazlow himself addressed the possibility, and his answer might disappoint many.

## Will Lazlow Be in GTA 6? The Actor Speaks

During a conversation with Nerd Reactor, Jones was directly asked about a potential appearance in *GTA 6*. He responded, “*We ⁣left in 2020 ⁢(Rockstar), so I doubt it. I loved working on those games with Dan (Houser), and I was on the radio in GTA 3 and all the GTAs after that, and it was an amazing journey, working on GTA for 20 years.*”

This statement casts significant doubt on a return. Jones’s 20-year run ‍with ⁤rockstar Games ended in 2020, and his departure, coupled with his wording, suggests he hasn’t been involved in the development of *GTA 6*.

However, as any seasoned GTA fan knows, Rockstar is notoriously secretive. It’s *possible* Jones has already recorded voice lines and is bound‍ by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), preventing him‍ from confirming his involvement. But let’s be realistic – it’s probably best not to hold your breath. We’ll all have to wait until the game’s release in May 2026 to know for ⁤sure.

## Beyond GTA: Lazlow’s New Venture

While a GTA return seems unlikely, Lazlow⁤ Jones is far from idle. He’s currently working with Absurd Ventures, a new studio he joined in 2020.Describing the studio,Jones said,”*It’s got that creative vibe and grit that reminds me of those early years at Rockstar, where we’re working⁣ on a lot of different projects, and everyone’s throwing in ideas. We’re working on‍ stuff that makes us laugh, you know?*”

It sounds like Jones has found a new creative home⁣ where he can continue to contribute his unique voice and perspective. This new venture suggests he’s embracing fresh opportunities and enjoying a collaborative habitat reminiscent of his early days at Rockstar.

## Who Else Do you want to see Return in GTA 6?

Lazlow’s potential absence leaves a void for many fans who grew up listening to his satirical radio commentary. With a beloved character seemingly out of the picture, ‍who else are *you* hoping to see make an appearance in *GTA 6*? Perhaps a return from characters like Ken Rosenberg, or even a glimpse of older protagonists like⁣ Niko Bellic?
