Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard recently addressed the anticipated release timelines of three major upcoming games: GTA 6, The Elder Scrolls 6, and Fallout 5. His comments offer a glimpse into Bethesda’s priorities and possibly, the long wait fans may face for The Elder Scrolls 6.

The statements were made during an interview with Power Unlimited at the premiere of the Fallout season 2 on Prime Video, as reported by Games Radar.

Howard explicitly stated his preference for GTA 6 to launch before Bethesda’s other major projects.

“I favor GTA 6,” Howard said, according to Power Unlimited’s Instagram post on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
