Is GTA 6 Trailer 2 Dropping on December 27th? Fans Decode Clues and Leaks
Excitement is reaching fever pitch in the gaming world as rumors swirl around the potential release date for the second trailer of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. A recent leak on X (formerly twitter) has sent shockwaves through the GTA community, suggesting a December 27th release.
The leak, shared by user remusr (@remiremus), features a screenshot allegedly revealing the trailer’s release date. The screenshot, purportedly originating from another leaker known as “the leaker,” indicates a 9 AM ET release on December 27th and is linked to Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company.
This leak follows a pattern of similar incidents, including one in December 2023 where the length of the first GTA 6 trailer was leaked days before its official release. While these leaks have proven accurate in the past, fans are urged to remain cautious as neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has confirmed the December 27th date.Adding fuel to the fire, recent GTA 6-themed merchandise sent to Rockstar Games employees has sparked further speculation. Fans have meticulously analyzed images shared by employees, noticing numerous references to the number 27, leading many to believe it could be a subtle hint towards the trailer’s release date.
Following a series of leaks in 2023, Rockstar Games reportedly tightened its security measures, including recalling remote employees to the office. This makes another major security breach less likely, but the possibility of carefully orchestrated teasers and hints remains.
While the December 27th date is generating significant buzz, GTA 6 fans are advised to temper their expectations until an official proclamation from Rockstar Games. Until then, the wait continues, and the speculation will undoubtedly intensify.
