Guests are arriving for the 42nd annual Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Golden Gala, taking place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee.

The black-tie philanthropic event features Grammy-nominated artist Teddy Swims as the headline performer, marking a rare opportunity to see the rising global star in an intimate setting.

Now in its 42nd year, the Golden Gala returns for an unforgettable private concert and dinner, with tables available through TMH.ORG/GoldenGala.

Funds raised from the event will support the expansion of behavioral health services in partnership with the Apalachee Center.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and the TMH Foundation announced the lineup in October 2025, highlighting Swims’ multi-platinum hits “Lose Control” and “The Door” from his debut album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1),” which earned him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

With over 4 billion streams, “Lose Control” holds the record for the longest-charting Hot 100 hit in history.

Swims, born Jaten Dimsdale, is known for his signature blend of R&B, country, soul, and pop, delivering powerhouse vocals and emotionally charged performances that have resonated with fans worldwide.

The event continues a tradition of bringing high-profile entertainment to Tallahassee’s premier philanthropic gathering, combining cultural impact with community support for vital health services.
