On September 1, the first National Fitness Competition (Southwest Region) football match ended at the Rongjiang “Village Super” football field. After seven consecutive days of fierce competition, the Guizhou team finally won the first and third place in the five-a-side men’s group (18-60 years old), the second place in the eight-a-side men’s veteran group (44-60 years old), and the third place in the five-a-side women’s group (18-60 years old) and the eight-a-side men’s group (18-44 years old).
As a national, comprehensive, and mass sports event, the National Fitness Competition not only provides a platform for sports enthusiasts to showcase themselves and surpass themselves, but also reflects the high-quality development of national fitness in all aspects. On the green field of “Village Super” full of passion and dreams, Guizhou football enthusiasts won the attention and praise of the audience with their superb skills and tenacious fighting spirit. Especially in the five-man men’s group (18-60 years old), the Bijiang District team of Tongren City, Guizhou Province won the championship with its outstanding teamwork and personal ability, and the Guizhou Rongjiang team, which played at home, won the third place.
In the men’s eight-a-side veterans category (44-60 years old), the players from Guizhou Xingyi Jinzhou Veterans Team won the runner-up despite their age and strength. The Guizhou Rongjiang County team won the Outstanding Organization Award from the organizing committee.
In the five-a-side women’s group (18-60 years old), the Guizhou Bijiang women’s team won the third place with their sweat and hard work, showing the tenacity and perseverance of women. The Guizhou Rongjiang County team won the Outstanding Organization Award issued by the organizing committee.
In the men’s eight-a-side group (18-44 years old), the Guizhou Vocational and Technical College team from Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City also performed well, winning the third place and the Outstanding Organization Award, adding more honors to Guizhou football. The Guizhou Rongjiang County team was awarded the “Moral Style” team by the organizing committee.
