Guri-Namyangju Office of Education successfully completes ‘Character and Growth Badminton Festival with Families’

The ‘2024 1st Character and Growth Badminton with Family’ festival, hosted by the Guri-Namyangju Office of Education, was successfully held at the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center on the 10th.
This festival was planned to allow families to experience bonding and cooperation through sports with the goal of preventing school violence and strengthening character education.
The festival consisted of a total of 174 games divided by school level and family member, and the 107 families and approximately 220 family members who participated had a valuable time working together and caring for each other through the badminton game.
The ‘Character and Growth Badminton with Family’ game was organized by school level into ▲ father-son group ▲ father-daughter group ▲ mother-child group ▲ mother-daughter group, taking into account the gender of family members to ensure fair and enjoyable participation.
A parent who participated in the festival said, “It was great that the whole family could participate in the game together, laugh and have fun,” and “It was very meaningful because the children were able to naturally learn the importance of consideration and cooperation.”
The Guri Namyangju Office of Education plans to plan a variety of programs to grow together with the local community through a combination of character education and sports.
