NIA Charges Five in Gurugram Club Bombing Plot
The National Inquiry Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against five individuals, including Canada-based Khalistani terrorist goldy Brar, in connection with a 2024 case involving a plot to bomb two clubs in Gurugram. The chargesheet was filed Friday in a Panchkula court.
Those charged include Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, Sachin talian, Ankit, Bhavish, and randeep Singh, also known as Randeep Malik, who is based in the U.S. They face charges under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Arms Act, the Explosive Substances Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Authorities said that all but Brar and Malik have been arrested in connection with the case. The NIA alleges the accused were involved in a conspiracy to target the Warehouse Club and Human Club in Sector 29, Gurugram, with bombs.
According to an official statement, the plot was part of a larger conspiracy by the banned terrorist institution Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) to spread violence, disrupt peace, and incite communal disharmony in Haryana and neighboring areas.
