[미디어투데이=안상일 기자] On the 12th, Gyeongsan City conducted ‘Public Officials Drunk Driving Prevention Training’ at the main auditorium of Gyeongsan Citizens’ Center with about 600 employees in attendance.

In this training, lawyer Han Moon-cheol, who specializes in traffic accidents and appears on many broadcasts such as JTBC’s ‘Hanvely’, was invited as a lecturer, and it was conducted for government officials at the main office, business offices, and towns and villages, and received a great response.

This training was designed to raise public officials’ awareness of drunk driving prevention in response to the recent increase in drunk driving accidents nationwide and the increase in drinking during the year-end and New Year holidays.

Attorney Mun-cheol Han gave an easy-to-understand lecture on the legal responsibilities and social repercussions related to drunk driving based on his many years of legal experience.

In particular, we analyzed specific progress and lessons learned from recent drunk driving accidents and explained practical measures for prevention.

– In the section on ‘Legal Responsibility for Drunk Driving’, the standards and punishment for drunk driving, as well as the legal consequences of drunk driving, were emphasized, emphasizing responsibility as public officials.

– ‘Recent case-based education’ conveyed the seriousness of drunk driving through real-life cases, eliciting empathy and response from public officials.

– The ‘Behavior Guidelines for Prevention’ recommends returning home safely after drinking by using public transportation or a designated driver and suggests practical measures for prevention.

In addition, Attorney Han Moon-cheol had a meaningful time donating 100 half-gloss capes and 100 winter hats to prevent traffic accidents among Gyeongsan citizens and delivering them to the Gyeongsan Branch of the Model Drivers Association and the Gyeongsan Green Mothers Association.

Gyeongsan City announced that through this training, it will once again solidify proper driving habits and awareness of drunk driving as public officials and create a clean and healthy organizational culture by eradicating drunk driving.
