BATON ROUGE — The LSU gymnastics team gathered Sunday to celebrate the conclusion of a successful season, marking their second-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships held in Fort Worth, Texas.

The celebration took place at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center, where families, fans, and donors attended a brunch and silent auction to honor the team’s accomplishments throughout the year.

Head coach Jay Clark addressed the gathering, emphasizing the individual strengths each gymnast brings to the program. “They’re all so different, so if you’re paying attention to each one of them, you can pick something up about each one that you would like to be yourself,” Clark said.

LSU secured the runner-up position in the team competition after a tightly contested final against Oklahoma, which clinched its eighth national title by a margin of just 0.0875 points. The Tigers scored 198.075 in the championship finals, while the Sooners posted a winning total of 198.1625.

Proceeds from the brunch and silent auction will be directed toward supporting the gymnastics program, continuing a tradition of community involvement that helps sustain the team’s resources and development efforts.
