According to the UK Health Security Agency, mammals can be infected with avian influenza (H5N1). However, current scientific evidence suggests that the circulating avian influenza viruses do not easily spread to people, and the risk to the general public remains very low.
On a global level, we continue to see that mammals can be infected with avian influence in (H5N1). However, current scientific evidence say that the viruses of the avian influence circulating all over the world do not easily spread to people and the risk of aviatory influence for the population remains very low.
