This new album, “I quit,” marks their first release since “Women in Music Pt. III.”
The album delves into themes of breakups and their aftermath. Danielle Haim’s split with producer Ariel Rechtshaid, her partner of nine years, heavily influenced the album’s lyrical content. Following the breakup, Danielle moved in with Alana, finding solace in family and revisiting music from their adolescence.
