Joshua Bell has joined forces with renowned British cellist Steven Isserlis​ and the exceptionally talented pianist⁣ Jeremy Denk to create a new album. This highly anticipated collaboration‍ brings⁣ together⁣ three musical masters,‍ each⁢ with‍ their ⁢unique voice and perspective.

Joshua⁤ Bell shared his thoughts on the new recording of the Mendelssohn Piano Trios, saying, “Steven Isserlis and‍ Jeremy Denk have been my most treasured​ chamber music ​partners for decades. They⁤ bring boundless imagination and astonishing ⁤musical‌ intelligence to every work we have‍ had the opportunity ⁤to perform together. I ‌hope that the joy we share in performing chamber music, and in particular our deep love for Felix Mendelssohn, is reflected in the ‌Piano Trios. I am truly grateful⁤ for the ⁢opportunity to make this album.”

Mendelssohn’s Two⁤ Piano Trios, considered one ​of his masterpieces, are featured on this album. The trios, including ‌the famous No. ‌1 in D minor, Op. 49, and No. 2 in C ‌minor, Op. 66, ‍showcase the‌ composer’s genius. ‌The album also includes a bonus track, the original ⁤version of the song-like second‍ movement (Andante con ⁤moto tranquillo) from No. 1.
