The Gangneung Book Culture Center will host the ‘Book Lounge Sympathy Concert’ with citizens at the Gangneung Book Culture Center Book Lounge on the 2nd floor of Gangneung City Hall on October 31st from 7 p.m.
Author Kim So-young to Participate in the Concert
Author Kim So-young, known for her essay collection ‘A World Called Children’, will participate in the October Sympathy Concert. Kim So-young is a writer and children’s reading education expert.
Her essay collection ‘A World Called Children’, which records her thoughts while running a children’s reading class, was selected as the ‘Asian book that shone this year’ at the 2022 Asia Book Awards.
Concert Theme: ‘Where the children are, where we are’
The Empathy Concert will focus on the theme ‘Where the children are, where we are’, where adults can discuss what they can do for children. The concert will also introduce books to be published in 2024 that are recommended for children.
Any adult in Gangneung City can participate in this concert, and applications can be made through the Gangneung Book Culture Center website.
