Fan supporters of the Harry Potter series successfully lobbied for the rerouting of a subsea electricity cable in Wales to avoid a site known as Dobby’s grave. The Greenlink project, which connects the Irish electricity grid to the UK’s National Grid, altered its path at Freshwater West beach in Pembrokeshire after receiving hundreds of complaints from fans, according to project manager Simon Ludlam.
