Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club has announced that red-ball captain Haseeb hameed and one-day skipper Joe Clarke have both signed new two-year contracts with teh reigning county champions. The signings ensure both key players will remain at Trent Bridge through the 2027 season.
Hameed’s Impact Since Joining Nottinghamshire
Haseeb Hameed,28,joined Nottinghamshire in 2019 after leaving Lancashire. As then, he has amassed over 5,000 first-class runs for the club, including 13 centuries. During Nottinghamshire’s title-winning 2025 campaign, Hameed scored 1,258 runs across all formats, maintaining an impressive average of 66.21.
