Amy Samir Ghanem Addresses Pregnancy Rumors at Red Sea Film Festival
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Actress Amy Samir Ghanem and her husband, artist Hassan Al-Raddad, sparked a social media frenzy after Ghanem’s appearance at the opening ceremony of the Red Sea Film Festival.Fans speculated about a possible second pregnancy after Ghanem appeared to have gained weight, two years after the birth of their son, Fadi.
Al-Raddad, in response to questions about a potential sibling for Fadi, told ET Arabic, “I’ve heard rumors from many friends, but due to my busy schedule, I haven’t followed the public comments on this matter.With the festival,” adding, “God willing, God make it easy.”
Ghanem, known for her playful demeanor, jokingly asked ET Arabic’s correspondent to pray for her mother when asked about the pregnancy rumors. “Your mother is alive, let her pray for me,” she quipped.
During an interview with Gossip,Ghanem further addressed the speculation with humor. “I hope I don’t have a tomorrow and won’t be betrayed after 10 years,” she joked. When asked about swimming, she replied, “I know how to swim. For a long time, but recently events are starting to make me afraid to go to the sea. I still love to sit in front of the sea.”
The couple’s appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival comes amidst anticipation for their return to the screen. al-Raddad recently revealed they are preparing for a new series slated for the 2025 Ramadan drama season, following the success of their 2018 hit series “Azmi and Ashgaan.”
