Hayden Schlossberg, known for co-creating Cobra Kai, is making his acting debut in Season 6, Part 2. He plays Ezra, the flashy lawyer for Terry Silver, portrayed by Thomas Ian Griffith. Their characters first appear in episode 9, titled “Blood In Blood Out.”

Schlossberg, along with friends Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald, created Cobra Kai as a tribute to The Karate Kid. He expressed interest in acting but only if the role suited him. Portraying Terry Silver’s lawyer was a perfect fit. The idea of Terry Silver’s legal team intrigued him. Discussions about Silver’s arrest in Season 5 fueled this desire.

Hurwitz and Heald joked about Schlossberg’s rising star status, but he stated he remains the same. They did not confirm if Hurwitz and Heald will appear in the remaining episodes. However, surprises are confirmed for viewers.

Cobra Kai takes place over 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. It continues the conflict between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. In Part 2, Miyagi-Do faces challenges and rivals at the Sekai Taikai tournament, striving for the title of world champions despite internal conflicts.

Netflix released five episodes of Cobra Kai with the final episodes set to premiere early next year.
