Hayley Williams Announces Deluxe edition ​of “ego Death at a Bachelorette Party” with New Track​ “Parachute”

Hayley williams is expanding her recently released album, “Ego Death at a bachelorette Party,” with an 18th⁢ track, “parachute.” ‌ She⁤ premiered the song this ‌evening on BBC Radio 1.

The song begins as a delicate, piano-based piece before evolving into⁢ a powerful⁤ rock anthem. The lyrics‌ include the poignant lines: “I thought you​ were ‍gonna catch me/I never stopped ⁢falling for you/Now⁤ I know better, never let​ me/Leave home without⁣ a parachute.” ⁤ you can listen to the album, including “Parachute,” on​ Spotify here.

The physical album will be available on November 7th and is currently available for pre-order here. It will be released⁣ on black and “Zissou Clear-Wave” vinyl, alongside six‍ limited edition colours: Highlighter​ yellow, Marble⁢ Yellow, Orange Juice Splash, ‍Crystal Clear, Grayscale Metallic ‍Silver, and Poolwater Wave.

This release marks Williams’ first independent musical⁤ project as ending her record deal with Warner/Atlantic. Notably, the final tracklist was influenced by fan-created versions‍ shared‍ online after the initial ​proclamation.
