Hazama Azmi Reflects on IVF Journey and Parenthood Dreams After New Album Launch
Singer Hazama Azmi and his wife, Genervie Kam, faced challenges with in-vitro fertilization (IVF) last year, as they were unable to conceive. Hazama has chosen not to pursue IVF again due to its high costs. He recently invested his savings in a new album called Pujangga, which he launched on Thursday.
Despite this setback, both Hazama and Genervie continue to pray for a child. Hazama emphasized that they will focus on enjoying their life together as a couple. He noted that Genervie made significant sacrifices during the IVF process, as she needed long periods of rest and to avoid stress.
Hazama, who married Genervie on April 14, 2017, explained that his job requires high dedication. Since he does not receive a monthly salary, he takes every opportunity that comes his way.
In a separate incident, 15 flood victims from three families sought help after being trapped on the upper floor of a house in Kampung Senor, Meranti, Pasir Mas. Victim Rosilawathy, age 42, reported that they had to move to the upper floor when the water level rose quickly.
Rosilawathy shared that her mother has vision problems and her father is elderly, which made self-rescue impossible. They were trapped for three days without electricity and were running out of food. At their lowest point, they felt hopeless, uncertain about who would come to assist them.
