Roscrea Mourns Hazel Greene, Remembered for Loving Family and Community Spirit
Hazel Greene (née Stanley), a beloved resident of Coolroe, Roscrea, County Tipperary, passed away peacefully at home on , surrounded by family and friends. She was also formerly of Fallowbeg, Timahoe, County Laois.
Mrs. Greene’s passing marks a significant loss for the Roscrea community and beyond. She is remembered by those who knew her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ann Stanley, her brother David, and her daughter Sandra. Her absence will be deeply felt by a large and loving family.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, Tommy, and her children Gary, Stuart, Stephen, Alison, Clive, Roy, Damien, and Jason. She also leaves behind her brother Leslie, and sisters Olive, Mabel, and Joan. Her legacy extends to her daughters-in-law, Mary, Elaine, Caitrin, Niamh, and Laura, and her grandchildren Tom, Dara, Thadí, Oisín, Ross, Lily, Isla, and Anna.
The family also acknowledged the support of numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends who shared in Mrs. Greene’s life.
Reposing will take place at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Roscrea E53 RX08 on , from 4pm to 7pm, offering an opportunity for the community to pay their respects.
A funeral service will be held at St Cronan’s Church of Ireland Church on , commencing at 1pm. Following the service, burial will take place in Dungar Cemetery.
