He was associated with Zamalek.. Al-Qadisiyah officially announced Carrillo’s departure
Saudi Al-Qadisiyah club announced on Sunday evening that Peru international Andre Carrillo has been released from the team at the start of the new season, in light of a number of signings at the overseas level.
Al-Qadisiyah club management sacked the 33-year-old, making the former Al-Hilal star available for a free transfer to any club in the coming period.
Al-Qadisiyah Club announced, through its official page on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), the departure of Calero after concluding the contract, as he left Al-Hilal last summer.
Despite Carrillo’s brilliance at the Al-Qadisiyah team camp held earlier this season in the Netherlands, the management decided to remove the player due to the number of foreigners present in the team.
Al-Qadissiah’s administration has made a number of strong signings this summer, such as signing Gabonese top scorer Pere-Emerick Aubameyang and Spanish defender Nacho.
The Peruvian international featured in 29 matches with Al-Qadisiya last season, scoring two goals and scoring five decisive goals.
The Peruvian winger had many experiences with the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Benfica in Portugal and Watford in England.
It is worth noting that Carrillo’s name has been linked with a move to Zamalek this summer, as the Whites are currently preparing to play in the African Super Cup against Al-Ahly on September 27 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
