Aom Akkapan Namat’s Funeral: A Heartfelt Farewell
Aom Akkapan Namat’s family is still in mourning as they prepare for the watering ceremony and recite the Abhidhamma. His wife, Daria Chefruk, had tears in her eyes as she held the image of the young hero close to her chest.
The atmosphere of the Abhidhamma chanting of Aom Akkaphan Namart, who passed away peacefully at the age of 39 after being treated for more than 2 years for cancer in the heart muscle area at Hall 12, Wat That Thong, Phra Aram Luang, Bangkok.
Reporters reported that at 2.01pm the family moved Aom Akkapan’s body to Hall 12, Wat That Thong, Phra Aram Luang, with his wife, Daria Chefruk, holding the image of the young hero close to her chest. Afterwards, officials lifted Aom’s body to await the next funeral ceremony and explained the steps of the ceremony to the family.

The funeral ceremony will start around 4:30 PM and the first night of Abhidhamma prayers will start around 6:00 PM. Then, from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th September 2024, there will be Abhidhamma prayers at 6:30 PM. Saturday 28th September 2024 at 10:30 AM Earn merit by elevating monks by chanting Matika at 3:00 PM Cremation ceremony.
