Release date: 2024-09-14 17:40

Physical education⁢ plays a vital role in shaping the lives ⁤of athletes, ‌and the‌ recent Hong Kong Badminton Open ⁣is a ⁢testament to this. ⁣The host team, “Deng Xie ⁣Pei,” consisting of Deng ⁣Junwen and Xie Yingxue,⁤ put up a ⁢valiant effort⁤ but ultimately missed the mixed doubles final.

The third-seeded team, Deng⁤ Junwen⁢ and Xie ⁣Yingxue, faced off against the second-seeded Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin⁢ of the national team. Despite falling behind 0-3 and 2-6 in the early stages, the Hong Kong team managed to win three ⁣points in a row. However, the national⁤ team ‌launched an 8-0 offensive, expanding their‌ lead to 5-14.

Deng Junwen’s efforts to hit the net‌ were‍ thwarted, and Wei Yaxin ‌missed the ball, allowing ⁢the Hong Kong team to narrow the gap. However, the national team’s relentless pressure proved too⁤ much, and Deng Junwen and Xie Yingxue lost the first game 12-21.

The national ‌team’s Wei ⁤Yaxin, who won the championship last year with Guo Xinwa, partnered⁣ with Jiang Zhenbang this year. “Deng ‌Xie Pei” was the runner-up combination last year, and this ⁢year marked the last time head ⁣coach He Yiming led the ⁢team.

After adjustments, the ‌Hong ⁢Kong team showed resilience in the early stages of the⁢ second⁢ game, taking the lead three times. However, Jiang ⁢Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin launched a 5-0 and ‍13-0 offensive, respectively, and “Deng Xie Pei” lost another 6-21, ‍completing ⁤the final home game of this ‌combination with the top four.

Xie Yingxue expressed her ‍gratitude‍ to everyone, including‍ live⁣ viewers and ‌sports reporters, saying, “Thank you⁣ to everyone, ‌all the live viewers, watching the live broadcast (viewers), even the sports reporters, they love us (the team) very⁣ much,‌ and I will miss you all.”

Deng Junwen pointed out, ⁣”It is rare to feel such⁢ enthusiasm and encouragement. It ⁤is unforgettable, and‌ I want to ⁢continue ⁣to feel it, ⁢but I have no choice but to ⁤lose the‍ game, so it is⁢ a⁢ bit regretful.”
