Heavy Rain and Hail Warnings for La Pampa, Mendoza, and Jujuy

Heavy rain and potential hail are expected in the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza, along with Jujuy. This pattern will continue into Sunday.
The National Meteorological Service (SMN) warns that the area may experience isolated storms, some of which could be strong. These storms may bring heavy rainfall in short periods, intense lightning, strong winds, and possible hail.
Precipitation is expected to accumulate between 30 and 60 mm, with higher amounts possible in specific locations. The heaviest rainfall is predicted to start after the night of Sunday, the 24th.
Recommendations from the National Meteorological Service:
- Do not take out the trash. Remove objects that could block water drainage.
- Avoid outdoor activities.
- Do not seek shelter near trees and power poles that may fall.
- To reduce the risk of lightning strikes, stay away from beaches, rivers, lakes, or pools.
- Be alert for possible hail.
- Stay informed through official sources. Have an emergency backpack ready with a flashlight, radio, documents, and a phone.
