Airbus Helicopters Soars in 2024 with Strong Sales Across Segments
Marignane, France – Airbus Helicopters capped off 2024 with a remarkable 455 gross orders, translating to a net total of 450, reflecting steady growth across its diverse helicopter portfolio. The French aviation giant announced these figures in a recent statement, highlighting a robust market response to its offerings.
The Super Puma line proved particularly popular, raking in 58 orders from various military and government entities. Among the buyers were the German Bundespolizei, the Japan Coast Guard, the Dutch Ministry of Defence, and the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.
The NH90 program also made significant strides, with the launch of its Block 1 upgrade, the initiation of flight testing for France’s Special Forces Standard 2 configuration, and the delivery of the first Standard 3 configuration to the Spanish Air Force.
Defense customers worldwide continued to show confidence in Airbus Helicopters. The H145 and H145M models attracted new customers such as the Brunei Air Force, the Belgian Ministry of Defence, and the Bahraini Police Aviation Command.
Airbus Helicopters looks set to build on this momentum in 2025, as it continues to innovate and deliver reliable, cutting-edge solutions to its global customer base.
