Recent Arrests Demonstrate Proactive Policing
This past weekend, officers from the Henderson Beat team arrested four individuals for shoplifting in the Henderson town Center. According to Senior Sergeant Greg Wilson, the arrests occurred in two separate incidents where individuals were observed taking items from different stores. Officers were able to respond quickly due to their proximity to the incidents.
Last week, a 41-year-old man was apprehended after attracting police attention with suspicious behavior in a car park. Wilson described a brief pursuit before the man was arrested. He was wanted for multiple theft and dishonesty offenses and was in breach of his bail conditions.

Senior Sergeant Wilson stated that the Henderson Beat team has been actively patrolling the area since the beginning of november 2023. He emphasized that the team is focused on both familiarizing themselves with the community and establishing a strong deterrent to crime.
“While getting to know their new area and connecting with the people of Henderson, this team has sent a clear message,” Wilson said. “We will be holding anyone who engages in offending of any kind to account.”
Wilson further noted that the team’s proactive approach and instincts are already yielding positive results and contributing to a safer environment for the Henderson community.
