A devastating traffic accident in ⁢Yaoundé has claimed ⁤the‌ life of 22-year-old⁤ Mélanie Amougou, a student at the⁤ University of Yaoundé 2, who selflessly gave her life ‍to⁢ save⁤ a child.

According ⁣to⁣ eyewitness reports, Mélanie was ⁤attempting⁣ to ‌cross‍ the road while holding⁤ a ⁣baby in ⁤her arms when⁣ a speeding truck lost control and headed towards her.‌ With her quick thinking and⁣ protective ​instincts, she pushed the baby aside⁢ to safety, but unfortunately, ⁣this heroic act proved fatal for her.
